A hospice employee came up to me and just hugged me. I still remember going to the hallway outside his room at hospice and calling my husband and breaking down. I think he knew I couldn't handle the 'death part'. I get home but he had passed away already. Anyway, on my last trip, my brother tells me to hurry home, 'it's coming soon'. I helped my mom take care of him but I had just gotten married and moved out of state his last year alive so I had to do a lot of flying back and forth.
